Bearhugs for Australia is as an ongoing initiative I founded to bring together an international collaboration of artists to produce apparel & accessories for sale with 100% profits donated to charities supporting Australia’s bushfire recovery effort.

Along with the rest of the world, I watched the rolling news coverage at the beginning of 2020 in sadness and disbelief, as devastating bush-fires raged across much of Australia.
Living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia, I'm fortunate to be surrounded by natural bush-land, with koalas frequenting the gum trees in my own backyard. I had friends who lost homes and businesses to the fires in my region though thankfully my own was untouched.
Feeling the need to do something to help my community, I put my creative skills to use and established Bearhugs for Australia. It's my own small way to play an active part of the relief effort and to provide others a chance to do so as well.
